Canada Wonderland Imposes New Restrictions on Minors

Canada Wonderland amusement park has announced the implementation of a stricter policy regarding the entry of minors, starting from the 2026 season. The move aims to enhance safety within the park following repeated inappropriate behaviors by some young visitors.

Minors Must Be Accompanied at Canada Wonderland

Under the new decision, all visitors aged 15 or younger will be required to be accompanied by a person aged 21 or older, starting from 4:00 PM, whether entering the park or while inside.

The management of Canada Wonderland also clarified that a single guardian is not allowed to supervise more than 10 minors at the same time, in an effort to organize visitor movement and ensure better monitoring of younger age groups.

Temporary Policy Becomes Permanent Measure

The decision follows a trial of a similar temporary policy over the past months, during which the park imposed comparable restrictions at previous events due to reports of uncontrolled and inappropriate behavior by some minor visitors.

The park administration confirmed that these measures aim to provide a safe and family-friendly environment, especially during evening hours, which usually see a high concentration of visitors.

The company owning the park stated that having an adult guardian helps improve responses to emergencies, whether medical or behavioral, and also helps reduce issues that may arise from lack of supervision of minors.

The management emphasized that the implementation of this policy will begin gradually, initially focusing on educating visitors about the new rules before enforcing entry or stay restrictions on those who do not comply with the specified conditions.
